Ceri and Rob's Sunshine Outdoor Wedding at Albright Hussey, Shrewsbury
April can be a funny month, weather-wise, you never really know what you are going to get. We go from snow and rain and wind and showers through to gorgeous spring sunshine - to even beautiful early summertime heat...and it was one of the latter than Ceri and Rob were lucky enough to get on their April day at the stunning Albright Hussey, just outside Shrewsbury.
The Hussey is a simply stunning venue - a fabulous old Elizabethan manor converted into a hotel, with fabulous original features - and the accompanying low doors, wonky beams and fabulous furniture to match the theme - four posters abound...even a four-poster hot-tub in one bedroom...
Ceri and Rob had wanted an outdoor wedding and it was the Hussey's first of the season - mine too! There is something simply special about an outdoor wedding in the sunshine - it is beautifully English...verdant green lawns, ducks and swans in the old moat, leafy and shady trees...an archway of clematis just coming into flower...just amazing and so photogenic!
And Ceri and Rob took advantage of all of this. A young couple, clearly much in love, binding their future together in front of their families and their friends...just a perfect day. It's an overused phrase, but it really was. A perfect day!
Here's a sneak-peak at some of the highlights of that perfect day...
