Emma and Craig's Spring Wedding at Davenport House - Shropshire Wedding Photographer

2022’s wedding season kicked off with an absolute banger this last weekend - with Emma and Craig getting married at the utterly gorgeous Davenport House in Shropshire.

Hidden away in the countryside Davenport House sits not far outside Telford and is a spectacular sight when you see it for the first time. When you add to that a warm spring sunshine, that spectacular sight is dipped in chocolate and drizzled with bits of Maltesers. You get what I mean…I run out of the old adjectives to describe it…

Emma and Craig had chosen this venue, which clearly showed their great taste, and the attention to detail provided by Davenport House and the staff was something to see - nothing was too much trouble for the staff there - putting up with my odd requests and strange ideas, they took everything in their stride. Couldn’t be faulted.

Anyway, Emma looking stunning, and Craig cooly arriving in a hired Aston Martin DB7 (in, of course, British Racing Green!) joined a very special select number of guests to celebrate their wedding. All I can say, is if this is a taster about what the 2022 wedding season is going to be like, I am going to have THE BEST YEAR EVER. Delicious food gave way to tasty drinks, to cocktails, to a banging party that I was sad to leave!

Specially helped out on the day by Chantelle, for whom I am grateful to giving up her time to come along and second shoot for me, giving me someone to help me set up my lighting and give me a lot more flexibility for shots for the couple.
